So I'm watching her little face processing this and she is thinking pretty hard so I know a doozy is on it's way. She comes back a few minutes later and asks "mommy I know shut up is not nice, is shut DOWN ok to say?" To which I reply that yes, shut down is different and ok to say. So she turned around and told her brother to shut down...LOL And the explanation had to start all over againCousin Julienoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5068220830965987960.post-97804760488431882009-10-09T10:45:12.263-04:002009-10-09T10:45:12.263-04:00My almost 2 yr old is in the process of potty trai...My almost 2 yr old is in the process of potty training. With that comes all the positive encouragement of high 5's and "good boys". Which is why when mommy went to the potty yesterday I was faced with a very cute little boy sitting on the stool in front of me, asking me if I was all done, then high 5'ing me and saying "good boy mommy!!"cousin Julienoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5068220830965987960.post-6531934926582129732009-10-08T16:01:19.790-04:002009-10-08T16:01:19.790-04:00We went out to eat one night...DS ordered fish and...We went out to eat one night...DS ordered fish and chips...He was drinking all his chocolate milk..I told him "Save some chocolate milk for your fish.." I wanted to make sure that he understood why I had bought it for him so I carefully explained it and asked him if he understood. He nodded then looked at me for a long time before he said "And why have you got an ice-cream mummy?"Eleanorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09896818451678295268noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5068220830965987960.post-11255898075805427942009-10-08T09:57:53.861-04:002009-10-08T09:57:53.861-04:003 year old daughter: Mummy, what is that on your b...3 year old daughter: Mummy, what is that on your bum?<br />(referring to thong underwear)Annabel Fhttp://www.twitter.com/MeditatingMummynoreply@blogger.com
