The only thing I wanted was a Punky Brewster doll. On Christmas Eve I became very sick with the flu. On Christmas morning, I got up, found the only present that looked like it could be my doll, opened it (I was right, it was the doll) and went back to bed. Both girls were sick, we'd been up all night with them and they were finally sleeping on the sofa. Santa had been and gone. I'd made spaghetti sauce Christmas eve for Boxing day dinner, and suggested that maybe we should just have Spaghetti for dinner since nobody really felt like cooking, and it would probably be just the two of us and he agreed. I was just setting the spaghetti on the table for the two of us when two little head popped up over the sofa and I heard two little voices 'Sghetti? We smell sghetti!' I put out two more plates, some more garlic bread, and it ended up being the best darned Christmas meal we'd ever had!Food According To Karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12881987127511629823noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5068220830965987960.post-77874812060037398462010-12-03T14:12:55.285-05:002010-12-03T14:12:55.285-05:00http://twitter.com/#!/TalkingColleen/status/107733...http://twitter.com/#!/TalkingColleen/status/10773339404505089Colleen at Forty Something Bridehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12685917082696440156noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5068220830965987960.post-10179743389881571092010-12-03T14:04:55.432-05:002010-12-03T14:04:55.432-05:00I remember running downstairs on Christmas morning...I remember running downstairs on Christmas morning, looking under the tree and "seeing" that Santa had brought me this terrific truck and that he had brought a doll for my little brother.
