Family Day - What's Open - 2011

If you live in a province with Family Day you may be wondering what's open for business...

Movie theatres, family friendly destinations, tourist areas (like the Eaton Centre in Toronto) are all open. Remember everyone else has the day off too - so plan for crowds, take snacks and car pool if you can.

Stock up on food, diapers and vino because most grocery stores, beer & liquor stores and malls are closed.

Or just avoid the crowds, work around the empty fridge, by ordering in a pizza and enjoying a family movie day. Celebrate an unbirthday with an unbirthday cake (or a real birthday cake if you happen to be me).
