Cool FREE Places To Beat The Heat

With record hot days, the following are some free ideas on where to cool off, en famille, for an hour or the whole day. . .

❂Public library
❂Public pool
❂Wading pool
❂Splash pad
❂City cooling station
❂Mall
❂Beach/Lake

Remember to keep kids (and yourself!) hydrated! Water is great but active sweaty bodies need electrolytes replenished in great heat-ish days like today. So gatorade-type drinks is not only a treat but a good thing for big kid bodies. (Popsicles, freezies, ice cubes and home-made slushies are also great treats to cool off hot little bodies)

Offer babies lots of feeding opportunities.
