Parenting



Helicopter Parents: These parents "hover" around their children at all times. These parents rush to prevent any harm or failure from befalling them and will not let them learn from their own mistakes, sometimes even contrary to the children's wishes.

Black Hawk Parents: The extreme of helicopter parenting; these parents use stealth and cunning to get want they want for their children. Example; writing child's book reports so they will get higher marks.

Lawnmower or Snowplow Parent: Parents who want to mow down or push aside any obstacles that may get in the path of their child. These parents continue through high school and part time jobs...clearing the path and making life easier for their children.
