Canada Blooms will take place at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre (MTCC) from March 18 to 22, 2009. Canada Blooms 2009 will feature six acres of feature gardens in full bloom, more than 100,000 square feet of green-thumb shopping, over 200 hours of seminars, workshops and demonstrations, a special children’s garden and more.

The kids will love;
The Bienenstock Natural Playground – Experience a fully accessible natural playground that will transport children to a world of imagination. See a water flute shoot water into a living pond and sand sculptures by Canada’s world champion Karen Fralich. Travel through the Living Willow Tunnel to a tree fort and play music on the xylophones and whale drums. Climb stone and wood sculptures and create your own sand play area. The Toronto Botanical Garden engages children in activities and McMaster Child Health Research Institute shares insights on the benefits of nature on children.

The workshops at Canada Blooms have been very helpful for this nearly new gardener. The displays and exhibitors are informative and getting an early fix for winter blahs is soooo nice! Please enter my name to be taken away again!

I have 5 gardens and three of them need an overhaul and I don’t know where to start.

I’m hoping to get some ideas from the show and I would love to win tickets for me friend and myself.

I am currently learning to take photography on the wonderful world of flowers, and this would be the perfect opportunity with 6 acres of gardens filled with blooming flowers to choose as subjects!

I was thinking it would be nice to take some of our Pre-Nuptial/ Engagement photos in the paradise garden and show the beauty of Canada's largest and most prestigious flower and garden festival at our wedding which will be held in my home country. =)

Canada Blooms has become an annual "must go to" event for me. It heralds the coming of Spring with its vivid show of plants, gardens, flowers and fresh heady scents of so many blooms.

For parents of young children, it's an ideal venue to show what thinking green is all about, and hopefully instill in a young person, a love and respect for the plant life of this Earth.

I love to be in my garden. I am always looking for new ideas to add a little something each year. It would be quite interesting to see what others have created to give the rest of us insipration.

We recently moved my 80-year old mum to an apartment and she desperately misses her garden. I'd love to take her to the Show so she can enjoy the plants and flowers. I'd also like to take photos which is my new passion. Please enter me in the draw! - Pam
