March Break Rogers On Demand Online Contest



The March Break Rogers On Demand Online Contest (the “Contest”) is open to residents of Canada who are 18 years or older excluding residents of Quebec and excluding employees of Rogers Communications Inc. (herein referred as "Rogers" or “Contest Sponsor”), its parent and affiliated companies, representatives, dealers and agents, contest suppliers and judges, and those with whom they are domiciled.



1. The Contest Period starts on March 10, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. and ends March 23, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. No purchase necessary. All times are Eastern Times.



2. HOW TO ENTER - To participate in the Contest, visit the following blog http://www.parentclub.blogspot.com and submit a comment on the blogger’s March Break-related blog post stating your child / children’s favourite TV show(s). Multiple comments on one or all blogger posts do not constitute multiple contest entries: Only one (1) entry per person during the Contest Period.



3. PRIZES – Entrants are eligible to win one (1) March Break prize pack valued at $100 and consisting of kid-related items such as DVDs, notepads, and more. The arrangement of each prize pack is at the sole discretion of the Contest Sponsor.



4. DRAW – A random draw by a representative of the Contest Sponsor will be made on March 23, 2010 at approximately 4:00 p.m.

The name of the selected entrants will be posted within 24 hours on the blogger’s page on which each entrant posted his/her comment as instructed in these rules. Each entrant is responsible to verify if he/she has been selected. Selected entrants must make themselves known no later than 9:00 p.m. on March 29, 2010 by contacting Stacey Fowler by email at stacey.fowler@rci.rogers.com. Prize packs will be shipped to winners within 4 to 6 weeks of being declared a winner.

5. If a selected entrant fails to make him/herself known by 9:00 p.m. on March 29, 2010 or to claim the prize as instructed, incorrectly answers the skill-testing question, declines the prize, fails to sign a Release of Liability as may be specified by the Contest Sponsor or fails to present valid ID, entrant will have forfeited the opportunity to claim the prize and Contest Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to select another entrant or to cancel the prize.

6. Prizes must be accepted as awarded and are not transferable, redeemable, refundable or exchangeable for cash. Contest Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize with a prize of at least equal value in the event of the unavailability, for whatever reason, of the advertised prize.

7. To be declared a winner, selected entrants must first correctly answer, unaided, a time-limited, mathematical skill-testing question at the time of claiming the prize and may need to sign a Declaration of Compliance with the Contest Rules and a full Liability and Publicity Release. Contest judges' rulings are final and without appeal in all matters related to the promotion and the awarding of prizes.

8. By entering this Contest and/or accepting a prize, entrants consent to the use of their entry, name, city of residence and/or voice, statements, any photographs or other likenesses for publicity, advertising or informational purposes carried out by the Contest Sponsor and/or its advertising agencies in any medium or format without further notice or compensation.

9. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations.

10. No communications will be entered into except with selected entrants. To receive a copy of the list of the winners, send a postage-paid, self-addressed envelope on the Contest Closing Date to: Stacey Fowler, Rogers Communications Inc., 333 Bloor St. E., Toronto, ON M4W 1G9.

11. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries. All entries that are incomplete, illegible, damaged, irregular, do contain offensive wording or inappropriate content, have been submitted through illicit means, using any robotic, automatic programmed method that artificially increases the odds of winning or do not conform to or satisfy any condition of the rules may be disqualified by the Contest Sponsor. Contest Sponsor takes no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged, misdirected, late or destroyed entries, or for typographical or other production errors. Contest Sponsor is not responsible for any errors or omissions in printing or advertising this Contest.

12. Rogers is collecting personal data about entrants for the purpose of administering this Contest. No further informational or marketing communications will be received by entrants unless entrants provide Rogers with explicit permission to do so. Please see Rogers’ Privacy Policy at www.rogers.com for information on its policy towards maintaining the privacy and security of user information.

13. By entering this Contest, entrants release and hold harmless the Contest Sponsor, its advertising and promotional agencies and the contest judge(s), their affiliates and respective directors, officers, owners, partners, employees, agents, dealers, representatives, successors and assigns (collectively the “Releasees”) from any liability in connection with this Contest or, if declared a winner, the prize.

14. This Contest will be run in accordance with these rules, subject to amendment by Contest Sponsor. Entrants must comply with these rules, and will be deemed to have received and understood the rules by participating in the Contest. The terms of this Contest, as set out in these rules, are not subject to amendment or counter-offer, except as set out herein.
